Thirteen years since last staging this most popular of operas, we returned to La Traviata with a new venue at Arlington Arts, and a new look: costumes from the smart set of the 1950s, and a colour-washed, 2-dimensional set. Once again, we were able to attract three highly-rated professionals to the three leading roles, and to delight our audience, one of whom wrote: 'I can honestly say I was blown away!… For those that have never been to an opera, this company has made it available (and understandable) to the many'.
